Demo tape of the day: KUUMAT: Jumalattomat Trokarit (Demo 1)

KUUMAT (Hot(ties)) was a death/thrash metal band from Finland.

They release only one demo tape "Jumalattomat Trokarit" in 2003 through MOCKFUSH PROD.
It's limited and hand numbered of 50 copies.

When the COVID-19 pandemic is running wild and everything is closed (or dead, haha!) I've too much spare time to checking out my archives.

"Metal On Metal" compilation is the first release what I'm dealing it with you.

I bought my copy from Henry "Orgasmatron" Juvonen in 2004.

Compilation is released in 2004 and it contains 10 Finnish UG-metal bands.

PLEASE NOTE: Pictures (except CD) found in web, so if someone don't like it (Copyrights, etc.), please let t me know and I solve the problem.

JUMALATION is thrash metal band from Helsinki-Lahti-Riihimäki circle (Information from Metal-Archives) Formerly known as PEDRO ANTHARES GROUP (1997-2004).

They're active, but last release is from 2011

MALICIOUS DEATH is a thrash metal band from Helsinki. Formed in 2002 and releasing 4 full-lengths. Band's latest album is released in 2014... MA information says that they're still active since 2002.

Third band on this compilation is PYÖVELI, thrash / speed metal band from Valkeakoski.
Formed in 1998 and they're still active. Latest album is released in 2019. Their discography contains 4 demos, 4 full-lengths,etc.

WENGELE (from Kiiminki)is oldest band of this compilation. They're formed in 1987 as MENGELE, but in 1990-1994 change name to INSOMNIA. Band actually formed in 2002 and their first & only release is "Promo '04"

HELLBOX is a black / thrash metal band from Turku. They're formed in 1998 and released many demos, couple of EP/singles and two full-lengths.

EVOKED CURSE is next.up. Black / heavy metal is name of the game. Band originally formed in 1989 at Göteborg, Sweden, but moved in Finland later.

EC status is unknown nowadays.

DEATH THRASHERS KUOPIO... is death/thrash metal band from Kuopio. Formed in 2002 and they've made 4 demos, compilation & split. Latest release is "Madness... Underground... The Return" demo from 2007, but if read the title correctly, their return is still on progress... :)

EVIL ANGEL is black / thrash metal group from Lahti. Formed in 1998. They're active since 11 years in hiatus until releasing "Unholy Evil Metal" album via HELLS HEADNGERS RECORDS in last year.

FLAME is fourth black / thrash band on this compilation. Members live in Tampere, Helsinki & Kuopio. Formed in 1998 and they're still active (latest "Studio Perkele Sessions" EP 2015)

Last, but not least band of this compilation is SLUGATHOR. Death metal band from Espoo. They're formed in 1999, releasing some demos, full-lengths, splits, etc. SLUGATHOR split-up in ten years ago (2010)
